I just wonder if your reaction to the handball would've been different had it been a Melbourne player? Like fair enough you liked Sydney first and probably can be less one eyed when we play them, but its coming across.

The thing that I hate is that People are setting out on such a hate mission and making arses out of themselves.
Yellow Fever and The Cove have a pretty good relationship in my eye. But there are some people who are just embarrassing us.

Didn't go to any games but watched them all on sky sincer 06 when we moved here. My first memory was the game at NHS where the Pitch was a swimming pool.

I still own a Knights top I won from the world of football

Err why? Forums are for opinions and if people want to moan about Payne then let them.

*to an extent of the hate..

I fully agree mate. Immediately after the game i said i hope our fans don't play the victim role here but it seems a number of them ignored this advice. It is very embarassing.

Three for me, and two for them.

Fair enough good on you for supporting them from Chch. I went to all Knights home games in their 2 year existence and went to all but around 3-4 Kingz home games in their 5 year existence. Maybe that's why i take the Sydney result with a grain of salt. I'm used to the pain.

Three for me, and two for them.

Oh yeah. By the way.

I buy all of that Merchandise because I love the A-League. Ive been with it since day dot.
The A-league is a way of life for me. I revolve around it.
I buy shirts for teams in the A-league but I also buy things of importance and from moments in the history of it.

Its not just Forums.
Faceook groups and a Chris Payne twitter. All for something that will most likely be forgotten by next season.

I'll never leave Yellow Fever. I'll get a Fever tattoo at some point.
But its got to the point where its embarrassing.Stefan2010-03-15 21:23:30

No different really to some of the rubbish that gets posted by some about our own players.Seems we have a few on here know who just go way over the top. Some seem to have forgotton we were mostly outplayed and our best player went awol.Far better to lay the blame at a dubious goal rather than our own failings.

I'm not sure that Phoenix fans being unhappy about a blatant handball makes them 'idiots'...if thats what you are getting at.

Most fans are 'one-eyed' about their team, that's football and why people are so passionate about it.

For most fans, being objective is not possible because they tend to only support one team in any given league.

It's the NZ way though isn't it? Never our own fault. Always someone elses.

btw if it had been K. Muscat who handled the ball, Stefan would be carrying a flaming torch and a pitch fork, leading the lynch mob to Musky's house.

I kid, I kid, you're great.

What is then? The Facebook groups?

Who actually cares? Why are you embarrassed by a couple of Facebook groups? This sort of thing happens after pretty much every controversial football incident all over the world.

Football fans like to vent, Facebook is a new way of doing this, along with football forums.
