it's unlikey Hooper as his move only fell through 2 days ago, so we would've had to move insanely quick.

That's the most unnecessary, petty shark, especially after you said the presser was to sell the club.

Nah, it's just funny to watch people who're perfectly certain things aren't going to happen after they happen. Maybe we should all just be less certain of things.

...like every single negative comment you post? Jesus, get some perspective. Your post could only be more hypocritical if it came from Royz. No need to be such a goddamn bitch about it, jesus.

to be fair i was never certain, just given players the club usually target i didnt want to get my hopes up. I think we can all agree if a week ago you said we would sign Hooper we would all laugh

Totally ok for people to temper expectations a little.

Saying something is unlikely to happen and then it happening doesn't mean you were wrong to call it unlikely. If one of those people who won powerball last night had said they were unlikely to win it before that they would have been totally correct.

Keep the expectations low so you can be pleasantly surprised

I called Hooper after I saw his Iran deal fell through, to be fair :D

Great signing, considering almost no one thought we'd have the money to get him.

Absolutely true, you probably saw that post I made yesterday about how I had zero expectations for the season and I wouldn't be surprised if Talay/Dome didn't either. I am very pleasantly surprised and I'm glad that Jazzy and valeo have a sense of humour.

Disagree (that its even remotely funny, it definitely doesn't hurt anyone).

Just a bad taste thing to do on forums imo, especially given the type of mindless shark she normally comments

Calling someone a bitch is bad taste in real life too; so I'm not sure that reply was necessary.

Nah, seriously, apologies to those who were offended. Something I like to do is go back through threads after a new signing and find who mentioned the player first, because that person deserves kudos. But as I went on I found a big bunch of "it's NOT HOOPER" posts and... well, maybe my sense of humour is rather remedial.

As to biggest signing, we'll only find that out at the end of the season. As it stands Paul Ifill and Roy Krishna were our best ever signings and neither of them had a huge reputation before we found them.

Just watched some of his highlights online - Norwich and Celtic. Wow. He looks seriously good. Great positioning, skills and a terrific eye for goal. Suddenly, this Nix season just got a whole lot more exciting.

Huge thumbs up to the Nix crew that sealed the deal. This such a serious signing.

Sounds like a lot of sleepness nights to finally get our penalty box striker.

How much do people on here think the Nix would have paid for a striker of his caliber?

I'd say could be our first Million dollar man, but definitely our most expensive player ever!
