right, f**k id been patient with eilrich till tonight, voted him mom last weeke even cos i thought hed turned the corner. but dear effing jesus he was tremedously horrible tonight, if id played to the level he had i would have backed myself. he doesnt. fooookkkk im angry, hes sh*te, giv costa a run down the right next week.

Everywhere. I think this was probably the worst game i've seen us play and one of the worst I have seen in the A-League full stop.

Terrible stuff. So much hoofing and hoping and no real service from midfield. The only players that were good for us today I thought were Dodd and Moss. Even Johnson was bad. Smeltz wasn't that great either and had the touch of an elephant at times but a striker is only as good as his service.

Elrich was back to his can't-cross-for-sh*t self. I thought he had turned a corner last week but obviously not. He's only had good game this season.

I think that Ricki needs to make changes earlier, too. He's a great coach but I think good use of the subs is his weakness. Christie should have come on earlier for Elrich imo.

I think Ricki has got it wrong, 3-5-2 is the wrong formation with the Nix. We do like to play attacking football but we do not ave a good enough back three to cover and we lack a decent DMFer to cover in front of them. Ferrante seemed to be playing at the back of the 5 in midfield and he hardly did anything, He didn't put enough preassure on the sydney players that stood around the box and he lacked any urgency when he had the ball. The back three were alright in some parts but for the most they were all caught ball watching instead of watching the sydney players around them and were caught out on more than one occassion because of it. Pretty lucky we didn't lose by more.

Elrich didn't hit one decent ball and was too afraid to shoot as well. The seasons all but over so time to give the young guys a run- costa, draper as we look to next season

Yep, Costa should be given a run in front of Elrich (because there is really no point not to. if Elrich was playing well i'd leave him there but he is simply sh*te)

Draper should be on the bench in front of Brownlie too, because he wil llikely be leaving next season anyway.

nestling i didnt think our defense was too bad tonight, both there goals were well taken. we looked lacking in the middle, neither ferrante nor johno had good games. which maybe put pressure on defense buit i agree with what valeo said about it just being a truly horrible game. crowd sound on tv was about only highlight

The number of times tonight I've screamed "Get a f*****g cross in you lazy bastard!" is amazing. Such a waste of space and money.

Hes got a serious back issue so likely, bloody shame for him to leave the ring of fire that way but it was a dodgy tackle

How long do we ave Moss signed for? He has been consistantly great, must make sure he never leaves the phoenix until the day he retires.

Yep it was a terrible tackle and I don't think he would argue that. Was just frustration, which is understandable.

Just got home. Gutted. Real gutted. Moss and Dodd did so well tonight but things just didn't seem to click when it came to knock it into the back of the net.

I was impressed by the fact that there were no audible boos at the end of the game. Only chanting + clapping. Great stuff.

there was no booing because there didn't need to be, we played some good football and most players worked hard - we have been entertained all season by a group of lads and coaches who have given it heaps!!

I haven't read all the posts but from someone who was there I can honestly say that if we'd finished one of our chances in the first 70  or so mins I believe we would have gone on to  win it

there is a loyalty to the club and players here (and one that isn't blind) and most clubs in this league and many clubs in any other league would be envious of it

im gonna cry myself to sleep or drink either way

A bit of a damp squib match from the Nix I thought...no creativity..just some industry.  We really must vary the play more..SFC spent 70 mins perfecting the long ball over the back and when it worked..voila.

Got a wave from Juninho which was good..shame he didnt play.

im sorry tigers, but your being incredibly creative about tonights performance. we were very very poor. yea we had chances in first 70 but that was because for large periods sydney were poor aswell. watch the replay and i think youll see what i mean. just because im saying we played crap doesnt mean i like the team less or am less loyal to the club.

no worries bopman, as you say the replay may change my view of the match
