Have you seen the Roar this season?!? They play amazing football, therefore our defense was immense to not let them score apart from the dodgy free kick decision.

Parking the bus and not tryin, boring by us.

Lucky draw, Roar should of scored a few more times.

We scored a goal, how is that not trying? Not trying would have been going down 1-0 and not caring, and ended up losing 4-0.

That's what I dont get, top of the league or not, when you have won one from five, and then not only as a team in the final few minutes you play for the draw, but your supporters are hoping for the final whistle????????

Did you watch the game?   A draw was a good result for us today.  Team showed heart and battled well

omg, some people are never happy. We have an injury depleted squad playing out of their skins against an unstoppable side and its still not good enough. We were never going to win, so the draw was immense. Well done lads

the thing the F***d me off the mot tonight was when we didn't put it in the box when we won a free kick at the end.It showed we didn't want to win.Yes we got an away draw but teams only go for draws in other leagues because there is relegation. There is no relegation so what use is one point to us in the long run?

Get sky or go to the pub, and then come back and comment. Don't make negative comments like that without seeing the game.

One point is better than no points, and getting something out of the game from a team that is just f**king amazing in the attacking third is a huge effort.

We had our two centre halves committed forward. A quick clearance from Brisbane and it was good night nurse!

Not an entirely stupid decision to knock the ball around and maintain a little possession in my opinion

Agree - If you havent watched the game you cant comment on how the team played.  Today I think the team played well and they should be happy with a point.  I am very pleased that we got a draw today

If you could win the league playing defense vs attack we'd be in with a real chance.

Great team effort to secure a valuable point away but scary how much better the Roar are than any other team in a salary capped league.

He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)

Maybe you need to put in in context a bit

We  had a defensive line that was holding them, so you dont send them all upfield to give the advantage back. Our away record has been terrible, so a draw is worth preserving at the end. It is a little bit of negative for a lot of positive

I said it earlier, we didn't play well and we didn't deserve a point when you look at the game as a whole, but we earned it due to showing some tenacity in defending.

For the simpletons that cannot grasp this concept, suggest you go back to schoolboy level and start again.

I had other stuff to do, but im sorry im not going to shoot my load because we get a draw and one win from six, is this going to be tactic for the rest of the season, just go for the draw??

That was ferkin awesome....
A depleted Nix giving their all against a red hot Roar on their own ground.

I was the first to bag Rickie after that crap last week but it just goes to show....if you want to organise a backs to the wall defensive effort , he's your man. Well done Mr Herbert and the rest of the lads.

Well since you had other stuff to do, please don't let us stop you from leaving now to continue doing what you were doing. Those that sat through an watched understand...

You didn't, so don't question the overwhelming majority...

agree with the defensive wall but we had sent players forward for the free kick...Leo should have played in deep..Dura was not happy

Brisbane is a special case, if we went over there and tried to play expansive football, we would have been hammered. In this case, a draw feels like a win.

No, not against sides that we can beat. How well do you follow the A-League? If you had any idea about it, then you would know that Brisbane are head and shoulders above the rest of the league in the way they play, so parking the bus is the ONLY way to get anything out of the game.

Let us remind everyone how we wet ourselves when AWs held Italy to 1-1. This was a similar feat. The teams had four (?) players and a coach in common, interestingly.
