much happier han last week, and infinitely happier than the week before that!
we certainly did it in a stressful fashion but WE DID IT!
great to score in the first half and great atmosphere in the last 15 mins
be good if one of the refs on the board were able/prepared to comment on the ref's performance
i thought leo should have been given a pen in the second half and Heffernan should have been booked for a that foul on Timmo (or for being hefferan really)
and why was smelz booked for a high boot then later on some saltie tries to pick Smeltz's nose with his studs and no card shown
was timmo's booking really warranted? (by then i was unable to even pretend to see reason - so it amy have been)

Xmas is in 5-6 day time, the A-league crowds may take a beating as people get busy doing other things. Still think that we are better off with Saturdays matches than Friday or Sunday ones. The FFA has a lot of explaining to do.

Just a few things
1. We were dominated last night
2. But we won!
3. That goal by smeltz was pure gold. Bertos' cross was sensational.
4. Glen Moss is the best keeper in the league. We will miss him bigtime.
5. The tackle by Durante where he got pinged on the sideline was one of the best tackles Ive seen.
6. The referees in the A-League are very very whistle happy.
7. Yellow Fever sounded bloody good on the gigglebox.
8. Merry Xmas everyone.

I'm happy. I couldn't make the game (again. Damn you MidCentral Health roster of hours), but got texted about the goal, the next hour and a half were agonizing. well worth it now though.
