Watching the same football club play Boca and Wairarapa within a week sounds catchy. Rubbish though the last train leaves Masterton at 3.40.

Very tempted to go, but as Manbeast pointed out, no train back. Any ideas?

Just checked on metlink; there are no other options after that train until the next morning.
Not even from Featherston/Greytown etc instead, and not even just to Upper Hutt.

Is it worth still going if you have to leave by maybe 3.20pm to get the train?

I'd be keen to chuck in petrol money if someone was driving.

There's car parks full of them, take your pick, just have it back by 5pm and they wont miss it.

Probably the best pub on the way to the ground would be the Kuripuni tavern.  as you come into masterton, you will come across the first round about.  Take the first exit then the first right.  Beside the mobil petrol station.  The car park is on your left.  When leaving, come out of the carpark and turn left.  follow road through kuripuni shops and take next right.  Then left (dixon street).  Then right into Herbert Street.  Follow this road right to the end (through intersection) then turn left (makoura road).  Follow all the way to the end then turn right (johnstone street).  Keep on the road for about 500 metres and you will see Hullena Park on your right.  If this doesnt help then Google maps might TSMA2010-07-27 08:39:50

The answer to life's problems are rarely found at the bottom of a beer glass - but it's always worth a look.

When doing "research" on young Tom Spragg, a certain Luis Esteves posted "cu at training tomorrow" (or something like that)on his facebook page.

So there's your mystery centre back.Turfmoore2010-07-28 14:38:42

1-0  - Toto (allegedly because the txt I got was from someone who missed it because he couldn't find the ground)

I'm slightly disappointed!
