English Premier League tries to cash in bu playing on Boxing Day
and New Years Day.
A-League could try and do this too.... cricket apparent;y
'cash's-in' with there boxing day fixtures.
But yeah break is good.....the Nix realy need to beat a team
other than Sydney or Perth.....We got Melbourne, CCM and Jets still

If they extend the A-League and include more sides, meaning
probably more games, and if they also introduce breaks during
FIFA windows, the FFA has suggested it would probably can the Xmas
break (and they have talked about boxing day fixtures). At the
moment the season is pretty short and they are not under a lot of
pressure to play over Xmas.

They're looking at rivalry rounds for the Boxing Day fixtures....I
guess Queensland would be the best bet for our rival, considering
Spewcastle is automatically going to end up against CCM and even
the Orange Army are taking notice of what we think of their team
(dirty cheating cane toads...) Of course the rivalry is stronger on
this side so we can host them here on Boxing Day. Which also gives
Lonegunmen more time to find yellow dye for his black santa hat
rather than being forced to use fluoro green

Yeah but WE hate THEM. If Sydney aren't available for Queensland to
play (ie if they're paired with Melbourne), then they could be an
away team playing against us. The rivalry will be alive in the Ring
of Fire.
And yes, of course Queensland hate NSW - we always beat them at everything

why is daniel suspended 2 games?
A-League regulations.
4 yellows = 1 game suspension
7 yellows = 2 game suspension
10 yellows = 3 game suspension
