The big four English clubs would recoup the investment for the Nix, but I doubt there would be many other club teams that would.

I wouldn't mind having Ryan Nelsen organise a game vs. Blackburn Rovers; that ought to be good.
Mind you, in every thing he says he sounds like he wouldn't want to rock the boat at the club (re All White appearances), so I wouldn't hold out much hope either ...

Agreed Bevan... Captain Cliche lol. I heard him on the wireless yesterday, he'd barely even comment on the boss situation just agreed with everything and played an extraordinarilty straight bat... wonder if he's going to follow him, or perhaps he's on thin ice??? (can't imagine why though?).

I'd actually pay to see C Ronaldo play. Him and Thierry Henry are the kind of players you'd part cash with even if you don't support the teams they play for.

Fernando Torres is one of those players, he's a freaking legend.

I could see United coming to boost their international fan base. Plus I'd love to see one of Ronaldo's free kicks for my own eyes... plus I wonna see most of the players for my own eyes. If Ronaldo, Giggsy and Scholes came I'd be happy. =)

Poo liverpool their boring. Torres is a s**t that can run and other than that and Gerrard they've got nothing. Plus they're completely boring to watch. We may have a chance of beating them though. :D

He's been at Atletico Madrid for a few years now, and their strategy was pretty much "pass the ball to Torres, stand back and watch him score".  Even though this doesn't win them any championships, Torres managed to always be up there as one of the highest goalscorers in the La Liga.

Don't get me wrong I'm no Liverpool fan, I just think Torres is a great striker.

He's good, you're right he's good, but there's are 20 others I'd pay to see before him.

i would pay to see fernando, he was one of if not the best striker in the league last season, especially fora first year import. it says something about a player that he could move straight into a liverpool team full of talent , yet lacking a 20 goal a season striker, and fill it in a season. muso2008-06-10 21:46:08
