Nix vs RADelaide - Back @ the Backbencher

So Adelaide come to Welly for the first time in a long, long time and we welcome the Backbencher back.

To celebrate having Boycies company again we're going to encourage you lucky, lucky bastards to get in early.

Boycie will have the new all singing/all dancing menu flying as well as ramping up the traditional pre-game BBQ out on Kate Shepperd Place.  To lubricate those noms we're doing a little Fever promotion in conjunction with the Bencher and the brewery.  The pay per hour system means you can get in for a $2 pint of Speights, Macs Gold or Macs Isaacs Cider if you're in before 2pm.  The price goes up $1 each hour until kick-off time - either way it means value driniking with your mates as you step in and check out the Bencher's new look.

Also look for a little something special (weather dependent) outside the Bencher to remind people it's our house.

Hopefully the Phoenix turn up this week but if they don't you're a chance of not remembering it.

Gah, I started writing a match thread topic, and while I was writing it you created this one. Sorry.

Depends on the whanau but I'm aiming for 12ish.  I <3 Nix will be there then as well. Smithy, EG and co will be a little later I imagine.  Hilton will probably delay Greene and definitely delay 2ndBest (he has a 14:00 game - bahahahahahahaha).

I can think of a few reasons......

Why would we go to the game?  Last time I looked at the table, we weren't even on it.

If this was a game after school I would be taking the match ball and going home to play computer games.
