By the looks of the 3 day weather map, rain/drizzle in the morning but briefly clearing towards 3, but starts up again over night.

The initial weather report did say the showers were going to be developing towards the evening, so it may be alright. The worst of that cold front will be coming in and hitting us on the bottom of the North Island monday afternoon/evening, Then Tuesday looks like havoc.Azevo2011-08-14 01:30:43

Wellington weather is b. awful at the moment, but it clears up heading north; it's fairly dry and still north of Porirua. Hopefully the southerly front is just barrelling thru the Cook Strait and not heading north.
