Paston hit the ball with the shoulder like you would if you were barging a player off the ball.

That really was shit defending for Thompsons goal.

On North, for me, he shows absolutely no passion. As if he doesn't really care much for the club. Probably has something to do with the pay cheque he is getting and his reputation.

What instance? I don't remember any being horribly wrong.

The referee got a lot wrong, but I don't remember offside being one of them?

I'd find it more likely that you don't know what offside is to be honest.

mixed refereeing tbh. A few went our ay which I thought were lucky, but again there were way too many inconsistent calls. I got a feeling that when Ifill retires hes gonna be the face of the push for pro referees. He hates it and I can tell.

Think manny didnt make the penalty, and do think ward's flick hit an arm. Whether it was in or out of the box

BTW the ref doesn't pick the offsides, the linesmen do.

North seemed to be very much playing on reputation. Which hard news doesn't think much of anyway. North hasn't held down a club much of late has he?

Great calls from Whitby only on number 3: can we keep three? Lia Brown and Daniel for mine...I'm still not convinced Ward will be consistent.

The linesmen are the ones watching the offside line and indicate to the ref when there's an offside because he's busy watching the rest of the game. Just saying.

What's the name if the player who can use his hands? How many points is a goal worth?

well as games went I thought we were pretty crap from the first half odd formation with bertos as a spare part..thank god someone woke up at half time and changed things round..referee was a t**ser.  Does Tim Brown deserve a starting place...I think not

Brown starting place, did I miss something couldn't remember seeing him?

Over half the games viewed this season I have come away wondering if Brown was playing.

dumb question time:  why have we played towards the fever in the first half every home game so far this year?  have we lost the toss every time and been turned around by the opp, or are we choosing to play it that way?  probably been discussed, but buggered if i know how one would search for the answer.....

i watched Ward closely today and don't think he was all that bad, and was mildly surprised that he was subbed - but not unhappy either as it turned out, because we were much better for the first part of the second half.  i do get frustrated with the way they just start popping balls over the top when they get tired towards the middle of second half rather than keeping it on the ground - did it at GC too.  it ain't much good for greenie, who i thought had another excellent match despite that style surely not being ideal for him (contrast:  the defence splitting pass for his goal which he muscled onto nicely).

If that is any indication of the level of play we can expect from the Nix, then we can kiss goodbye to any thoughts of a title in the forseeable future. Having said that there were some positives....Pav looks better with each run, Greenacre continues to be Greenacre and Leo, when he remembers that he is actually a good footballer, looked great..but what was with all the back passing? The other positive was RH realising that it wasn't working at half time and making some changes immediately rather than with 10 minutes to go..and I would imagine one hell of a rev up in the changing room at half time. Its the first game I have heard the team booed by the YF but at times they deserved it. Breeze was woeful at times but not the reason the Nix played like sh*te!!!!!

People shouldn't be so harsh on Bertos, they expect far too much from him.

WRONG!!!!!!!!
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

He was desparately poor in that first 30 minutes, at that stage he was the worst player on the field. Sure he sparked into life after that but he is a much better player than that and needs to perform more consistently and put in the effort for 90 minutes.

Yeah I agree that he was sh*t at the start of the game and hung back far too much but I think he just lacks a bit of confidence...and booing him was just stupid.

Bertie got a few boos whenever he passed it back in the first half, but he also got cheers whenever he passed it forward or made a run. Guess he got the message!

Any other booing I thought was aimed at the ref also.
