I don't know the judging criteria and it my be someone that doesn't understand the lore behind the Nix and YF that judges it. I'm not confident. I just hope the judges like Snoopy's Christmas which might be my best chance.

Well judging is tomorrow I think. Not particularly hopeful but you never know. Singing at the Nix would be a dream come true really. Special team. Special fans. Special ground.

Wish me luck if you feel inclined to. I really appreciate all the genuine feedback I've received from folks here. That fellow Yellow Feverites have praised the song means so much more to me than any prize ever could. I set out to try and create something that could be played year after year at Nixmas time and I hope the song stands the test of time and we can still sing it after we win the league.

Congratulations Ahmad!!!

Will someone please get the song on their camera or video it or something.  Am missing the game tonight and would love to hear the choir sing the song.  Hope they don't stuff it it up!

I am so honoured to be singing Ricki's Christmas at the Ring of Fire tonight. I guess coming up for this game from Dunedin was "meant to be". Tonight will be so special for me - beyond anyone's imagination.

I hope the Fever will be in full voice tonight - you guys are so awesome.

Thanks everyone!

Yes if you missed the story, they ran short of time (not sure how they ever intended on fitting everything into the time slot with 2 best dressed awards to present, then a runner-up carol, and lots of chit-chat before Ricki's Christmas) so they sped up the track which completely threw me and then cut it short.

All good though - singing at the Ring of Fire will be one the most proud singing moments of my life. I was directed to sing to the camera but I kept turning to the Zone because it was Yellow Fever who I was really singing to. I love you guys.

And more importantly 5-2.

Can we play you every week?
