bit of a shame, but i suppose it's better than having a team fall over mid-season
 
(I wonder if they'll be casting a nervous glance or two in Perth's direction?)

GC were not ready due to unsecured stadium deal.

His deal was conditional on them being in the A-League.  He's free to join another club - Adelaide, Mariners, Queensland and possibly the Jets will all be interested.

If the Thunder weren't ready, they should have just given their license to Wollongong instead and expand anyway

The real boring thing about the non expansion is that the number of A-League games stays the same.  Last year the Phoenix started against the Victory on August 26th. So I guess this season will start again in late August.
 
For F**k sake!!!! That is over five months away !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
How are we going to cope! I might have to get Mrs Ronaldunno to increase my medication!!

August 15 will be start with the GF 1st week in March 09. Breaks for Fifa windows as well. Pre-season will start in July and we will tour China in June (tbc).
