"How can anyone say the Phoenix logo looks like the AEK Athens one? Their one has two heads! If I saw someone walking down the street with two heads I'd be thinking "f**k me that's a bit different, what a freak, someone should put him in a circus" not "hey, that guy looks just like everyone else". After all, if we thought having one head or two heads were the same thing we wouldn't bother splitting up Siamese twins would we?"

LOL (literally, usually I just use that because something is mildly funny and I got a small smile out of it, but this time I actually burst out laughing reading your post.) You make your point very well, and I agree.

I tried to upload this one but couldn't. Anyway, here's another example Phoenix symbol, for Gwangju Sangmu(phoenix) FC in the Korean League. Not as good as the one we're losing though.

The FFA better not force a change on this issue...you guys have the best logo in the league and they'd go and kill it.

Any comparisons to the 3rd Reich are rediculous. It's like saying the Fire Service are national socialists because they paint their vehicles red and wear dark uniforms. Absolutely rediculous.

Logo now appears on the A-league site. Looks a bit fuzzy as it requires a white border but still way better than the other logos.

The Phoenix name is okay...but the logo was great.

Can't the FFA give us a break - we are behind the 8 ball already so the team and management need to be able to get on with it.

Also I'd buy a shirt or a jacket with a cool sheild on it but I wouldn't buy an American, cartoon or sanisted logo, if I wanted that I support a Baseball team or something.

Considering (I could be wrong here) I think the FFA actually OWN the logo etc, they do have the right to dictate what the clubs can/cant use.

They're just being lazy about fixing that outline. If you look at the Newcastle one the White outline is fine.

Well all the fuss about Hitler and AEK, i mean being greek myself AEK's logo can be seen on another greek teams PAOK and many german and some austrian teams.

Its not fair to critisize cause to be honest, it looks dam good. Unfortunate it had to be changed tho, i liked it better with the wings out spread.

Surprised the FFA even let you guys have the stripes there considering Reebok undoubtedly will give you a plain stripe-less outfit like the rest of them.

It's ridiculous, but a good logo still.
