The shirts off is not for us winning! F%^&*$g listen!

If we are winning with 10 to go we get them off!

this is to get the last bit of noise out of the fever zone and keep the boys up for the hard last 10 minutes!

If you dont like it then F$%K OFF to asile 30!

word. It's about do or die for the phoenix. If you don't get them off you can't claim "Phoenix til I die"

For me I didnt get my shirt off on sunday, but did so at every occcasion last year.

I will be getting my shirt off this year when i can but i think it should be 5 to go, not 10
Remember the last year how gutted we were when we celebrated too early and they equalised....(think it was second sydney game?)

At 75 mins we should be singing "we want to get our shirts off, we want to get our shirts off...!!!"

  I preferred the original version.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I'm pretty sure Sydney scored the penalty equaliser in about the 93rd minute that game, so even if we did take them off after 85min they still would have equalised...

No excuses! just do it!

If we get more shirts off and more volume in our voices they wont concede in the last 10 thats why we should be doing it.

everyone who has every played football knows that if you are winning a game(especialy a close one) the last 10 mins are the hardest. thats where the fever zone need to lift it to the next level!

come on the nix!

If scores are level at the 80min mark, and then the Nix score in the last 10mins, do we all take our shirts off the instant that we then take the lead, within the the last 10mins of the game?
Oh Wellington is wonderful. We got the wind, the rain and the phoenix. Oh Wellington is wonderful.

The tradition is in honour of our forefathers who inspired the first ever Phoenix victory in Sydney with this chivalrous act.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

any answers for this one, personally i think it shows a very week character and probably looks stupid to be waving your shirt above your head and then hastily pull it back on again

As I've said before, given the, ahem, shapeof some of the fans, shouldn't the shirts off in the last ten be if the boys are losing?

As in, "if you lot don't pull your fingers out, we're going to take our shirts off, (and you don't want that)"

Scare the nix into better things.

The wife made me put my shirt back on before we left the stadium. Probably for the best. Children about, and all.

p.s. I took my shirt off on the couch. Much to the horror of my in-laws who were staying with us at the weekend
