Not the luck we need.

Spent up to 4 hours last night just getting plastered following a puzzling loss to the Perth Glory. We were arguably the better side but yet again the luck was not in our favour. Paul scoffed his lines on two significantly important chances to equalize and snatch the lead. The fact that Wellington Phoenix have not even secured a single win is just abysmal.

Each week I have generated a concluding statement of "We should not have lost that game" or "we didn't deserve to lose". I watch the Premier League every week and find that the consistency from most teams actually creates consistent results. Now I know that is a whole different ball game but, I am just flabbergasted as to how we have not won a single game?

Despite a good performance there were however, some appalling displays individually. Again, Paul missed two valuable chances, Louis was frustratingly ill-composed on the ball in the first half as was Reece. This created agonisingly poor decisions at the back, and even Benny and Andrew were made to pay, because of the horrible defending on the flanks. Vinnnie surprisingly didn't have the worst of games in cover for Manny, while Albert was just exquisite on and off the ball. Kenny made some good decisions but created havoc defensively, failing to cover his already indecisive full-backs. Jeremy was his typical precise self and the trio of Mossy, Ben and Andrew showed their experience throughout the 90.

We require only wins now Wellington. Put some goals in the back of the net and keep the ball out of your own. Table is gradually creeping away from our grasp and, it shouldn't be.
