I'll tell you what I really disliked at FMG stadium, not the chicken wire, not the wind, not the small pitch, not even the c#ck hester.

We had a couple of young lads sit behind us in the 2nd half and all they could do is converse amongst themselves and swear every second word - mostly directed at our team. I know they are young with immature brains and all that but being a negative little oik is not the way to support a team.

Ha Ha. I love this place. A team that's been in existence for practically no time at all, a couple of bad results, the latest of which meant that we only equalled the A League record for unbeaten games at home, and the "that's it I'm not going to see them again" brigade come out of the woodwork. Quality.

I wouldn't dream of telling anyone how to support a football team, it's entirely a personal choice. There are a number of us on this forum who have supported their teams through thick and thin, mostly thin, for years. No matter what. I suppose that's what separates some supporters from others.

You've got to go through the lows to appreciate the highs, fellas.  See you at the ROF on the 9th

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

"Being a Partick Thistle fan sets you apart. It means youre a free thinker. It also means your team has no money." Tim Luckhurst, The Independent, 4th December 2003

Checked my rosters and I can make our next 3 home games (inc CHCH) so I will be there regardless. It's the Phoenix after all!
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

From the A-league website (preview of rnd 23): "Round 23 kicks-off tomorrow night with a delicious double when Wellington Phoenix attempt to continue their impressive Westpac Stadium form where they now havent lost in 15 matches. "

I think we can take it that there is only one home venue!

Good on ya mate.  If you and the other lads from Wellington are going to meet up at a bar before the game (in Christchurch) then PM me so I can meet the rest of you.
