For the under 20's Michael Cunningham was excellent until he came
off but overall the Wellington team competed pretty well. I
thought George Barbarouses stood out for Wellington. Nick
Roydhouse (I think) managed to raise a few hackles with some
"strong" tackles and a bit of sniping at the ref.
Craig Alderdice (Manawatu in NZFC and Miramar) turned out for
Wellington (no. 9). Interesting to see if he is keen to play
here next year.

Cunningham was excellent in his cameo's at the qualifiers as
well. Thought he was unlucky not be getting more game time by
the end of the tournament.
Is George getting his head sorted ? If he keeps playing the way he has been in the last few months he's going to go further.

Is this Paul,
1. The guy who couldn't make Wellington Col 1st XI in 7th
form
2. The guy who can't break into the Oylmpic Res after 4 years
of trying
3. To be able to play football you would need you remove your
lips off Jimmy's arse
Living the dream
PS I'll sure Roydhouse will send you a postcard from
Canada.

Wow some real tension going on here. Back on topic. yeah i found
this mondays gae to be boring as the Wellington team didnt play as
a 'team' for the majority of the game. Couldnt string one pass
together, but when they did get a counter going George held the
midfield up quite nicley. Talking to him after and before the game
he is taking his soccer very seriously now and wants to go as far
as possible.
Under 20's look promising and with Roddy back in the mix
nothing could go wrong. 3-0, maybe should of ben 2-0 or 3-1 more
reflective but all in all, etertaining at times but not too
exciting...except for the halftime show.

What's Roddy doing now - still playing in Chile or is he back?

Easy cousin, just look at previous posts.
If he played in yesterdays match he must be back. Were you born without common sense?

Apparently he is signed with Wests for after the Under 20s, but
still don't know what his Chilean status is.
