have to agree about it being a questionable choice.. plenty of time for uni after your used by date in football. A lot easier to get a degree then be a pro footy player. I'm doing the same degree, ill swap my spot at vic with your spot steve..

Are you a half decent defender? Ricki could be interested.

unfortunately thats a claim i cant even half-honestly make.

O'Dor would have stayed on at the Phoenix with the age for youth players likely to be lifted to under-21. Feverish, you make an interesting point about Rees. He's 50-50 IMO, probably depends on who they can get in off-season.

I still think O'Dor took way too much criticism for that Melbourne match where he was often abandoned by the messiah Dodd. He gave it a good go for the Nix, I hope he does well in his new career.

As a replacement perhaps Ricki should look to the Bundesliga for some German defender who takes no nonsense nor prisoners.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

that's only relevant if they were gonna ditch one of the current youth.

Nah they should keep Rees, even if only for a bench option or in case of injuries.

Good chance that he'll be back at South Melbourne for this coming season - I saw them play a week or so ago and they were a defensive shambles.
