Does anyone know what that song was? It was a very generic football-y song (think it had ref whistles scattered through out) and for some reason the plinky plonky piano had a vaguely eastern European vibe. Dunno if it was an A-league thing or just Nix thing but the nostalgia from that song gives me visions of Ifill, Bertos and Daniel doing one step-over and us all losing our shark. Would love to see it rolled out again, the drum beat always got me fired up. also want Ring of Fire back

It s played at football games everywhere in the world and is by no means a phoenix thing.

Do we have any songs pre-match now, maybe im spending too much time at the mezzanine bar

I'm hearing Fatboy Slim's "Right Here Right Now" from the TV.. Whether that's correct or not is another story.

In Australia we get it pre-match in the Aussie Rules football, so I don't mind it at all. I understand if it's not everyone's cup of tea.
I think they also play the old Chicago Bulls pre-match music (Alan Parsons Project - Sirius?).
Works well in an arena where you can make it pitch black and get the spotlights going. Not so sure it works at the stadium - especially during day/summer evening games.
