The first Pan-Pacific Championship will take place in Hawaii, with semi-finals on 20 February, and the final and consolation match on 23 February.
The Galaxy will be joined in Honolulu by MLS champions Houston Dynamo, Gamba Osaka of Japan's J-League, and next February's Australian League winners.
Los Angeles will face Gamba Osaka in their opener at Aloha Stadium. <!-- E SF -->
MLS commissioner Don Garber said: "The event will provide the participating teams with high level competition, while enhancing each league's exposure throughout the world."
ive got a song that wont take long, Adelaide are rubbish.. the second verse is same as the first.. ADELAIDE ARE RUBBISH
Thats what I was thinking, does having Beckham automatically qualify you for tournaments now. Kind of undermines the credibility of the competition.
The Team that goes in from the J-league qualifies by winning the
Nabisco Cup and Gamba Osaka won it ealier this year and it seems
the champion A-league team of this year won't go but the FFA
will send the runners up...It's all very confusing.
