Just caught this on the end of a news story on Stuff
Any ideas or more info? Tony P? What will the criteria be? Hope it's not the same as the youth league!
The Galaxy game in Sydney has also strengthened ties between the Major League Soccer in the US and the A-League.
Football Federation Australia chief commercial officer John O'Sullivan said clubs from both leagues, along with Japan's J-League champions, would compete in a Pan Pacific Championships in Hawaii next February.
"It hasn't been formally announced or confirmed and discussions are in their infancy, but it's something we're keen on," O'Sullivan said.

The loser of the prelimanary final not these year i dont think will
play in this comp along with some J-league and MSL teams and there
thinking about adding mexican teams.

They should do it like the NZFC's, with winner of the league, before the playoffs, getting it, or second if they go on to win the whole thing
