I realise that the questions arent overly challenging, its only for the school magazine.
Moss was a great guy to talk to.
Cheers!

Stefan: Are you excited for the upcoming season?

Glen: ..Cant wait! I am sick of pre season, I am sick of running, and I want to start playing..

Stefan: Were you surprised at the popularity of the Phoenix?

Glen: Yeah I was a little bit, to be honest, pleasantly surprised, Ive not been to Wellington before myself and I didnt know how it was going to look, umm, nah. Things were great last year.

Stefan: What was your favourite moment playing for the Phoenix last year?

Glen: uh, probably the first game, yeah just, ya know,  I didnt know what was going to happen and it was a great, great day against Melbourne

Stefan: What were your reasons for coming to Wellington?

Glen: Uh, probably to just get some game time, I had been overseas in uh, in Romania and I didnt really enjoy it so I wanted to play again and play in the A-League and it was just a bonus for me having the national team coach in it everyday as well so yeah, Ricky attracted a lot of players..

Stefan: Uhh What do you admire about Ricky as a coach?... Do you?

Glen: uh, yeah.. of course, I mean he is an approachable guy and uh, I have had coaches in the past where.. you know, you dont want to go talk to them or dont know how to talk to them, uh Ricky off the field is just one of the boys and you can go up and talk to him about anything so, he is an approachable guy.

Stefan: How did you get into professional football?

Glen: uhh, I wasnt much good at anything else to be honest, uh, I left high school

And uh, and picked up a professional contract in Sydney uh, when I was about 17 so I have been doing it ever since then.

Stefan: Was sport encouraged at your school?

Glen: uh, yeah I went to a, an actual sports high school in Australia so, over there you did any sport from.. Golf, surfing, Football, rugby uh, you know, sport over there is crazy.

Stefan: Did you try any other sports at school other than football?

Glen: Uh, I did a little bit of cricket and a bit of swimming as well and I have swam since.. I could walk so..

Stefan: What are your personal goals for the rest of your career?

Glen: uh! I want to get back over seas at some stage, but uh, I would like to play a tonne of games for the Phoenix Stefan: Play for a few more years..  Glen: oh Definatley, and uh, and uh, hope fully get to an A-league grand final.

Stefan: What are to goals for the team?

Glen: uh, this year is definatley top four and uh, if we could get a sniff of the grand final and even win it, it would be awesome, but I think everyone is looking for a top four for this season.

Stefan: What do you think about the idea of Australia and New Zealand both doing a joint hosting of the world cup in the future?

Glen: It would be awesome wouldnt it? It would be a great idea, hopefully Australia would share it with us but uh.. it would be good to get football out this way.

Good job Stefan - I like the fact the team is obviously shooting for the top 4.
He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)

Good effort Stefan.

It's encouraging to see that Moss has a reasonable grasp of the English language as opposed to Durante.

don't you have to in a  transcript though? I feel sorry for you Stefan, in my 7th form year we had to transcript 10 minute conversations or something. My god it takes forever.

Mossy is an absolute legend.

I remember speaking to him at the start of last season, and I think that he said that his parents keep up to date on the Phoenix news from this website (I was a bit drunk at the time).  If that is the case I want the Moss family to know that their boy is a hero to the fever.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight
