He did score a good goal against the nix but well if benefica dropped him he must have gone downhill a bit.

He's young and still learning. From what I saw of him he's got a lot of talent. Merrick didn't seem to want to persevere with him last season, even though he often looked really dangerous in a dull Victory team. Good gain for Newcastle.

 

 

 

 

I don't think he is as good as some of the Melbourne fans assume. For some reason whenever a young Melbourne player doesn't play it's Ernie's fault and not the fact that the young player isn't up to it yet. (look at Sarkies for instance. He's been crap since he left)

Though I watched Syd V Melbourne pre season and Patafta looked pretty special that game. But then again so did Keenan..
