So is anyone else amused by the fact that dear Harry did NOT make the cut?!

Edit - apparently on the bench

Fact is he didn't deserve to make the first team. Shouldn't be too disgusted...

I thought he was more impressive than Thompson to be honest

smeltz over thompson I would of thought. Considering the actual team balance is terrible anyway

I would have thought Siggy over Durante

Thompson starting is a bit of a stretch, 10 games without a goal?

All very well to take the mick, but the fact we only have one, says it all. Two if you include the subs.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

Yes, for heaven's sake let's not start taking any pleasure out of it. We should be seeing this as the sad indictment of our 4th place team it actually is.

Some picks seem to be a little bit on reputation, but if it's the players that are voting it, you've got to think that they'd have a better idea of what's going down on the pitch than us.

Smeltz would be the most unlucky in my opinion, but he has missed a few games with injuries I guess?

Or the other players just don't like him.

Thomspon is past it, Kewell spent more time gobbing off at referees than actually playing. He has no right leg for kicking.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

The Ruf, The Ruf, The Ruf is on Fire!!

Cant see too many players liking Broich yet he made the cut. Touch the guy on the shoulder and he goes down

He is probably one of the few in the A League our finest have not been able to get hold of and give a kickin!!!!

You are all being too harsh.

SOMEONE has to front the media on behalf of the Best in the A League team, and Harry Kewell is head and shoulders above everyone else in the league for good value post match interviews. He NEEDS to be in the team just for that alone.

Disgusted.
Aura.
Best Team.
The Standard other teams measure themselves against.
Big club.
Successful.
Disgusted.
It's just not good enough.
Disgusted.
What you don't understand is that football players, the good ones, see things faster than normal human beings. In fact, sometimes they see them BEFORE they happen. So you have to understand that while it might look like a dive, it is just anticipating and reacting before things have actually happened. You have to be really good to understand that.
I'm disgusted.
My Aura is so big.
Disgusting.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Phoenix fans. We have to win them over one fan at a time.

The fact that the back four he has picked are all central defenders and there is no Thomas Broich, makes his pick seem rather tame.

He did it based on the Team of the Weeks that he did, and the players that got into that team the most made it to his ToTS
