Former Club Marconi and Queensland Roar centre-forward Royce Brownlie is keen on returning from his European nightmare to join Wellington Phoenix. Herbert sees Brownlie as the Daniel Allsopp type forward. Announcement due next week

michael brown was better for roar wen he played but i like brownlie to pity they both disapered after the 1st season

Nice balanced informed comment Touch Me - we can only have 4 imports - so if we can fill a striker spot with a solid Aussie who has done well in the A League and has some experience in Europe then good - leaves us the option of getting in an import defender.

I wouldn't say he was a solid A-League player at all. Only scored 1 goal in a season at roar and was rightfully cut. You guys can do a lot better than Brownlie, he belongs in league 2 england where he's playing now.
