Just an update on the YF still rocking Melbs....

Official Melbourne Victory FC store located in Swan/Church St.....I'm gonna return and get a photo in there in my Retro Ricki and holding up my scarf!!!

Two doors down is the Soccer World Store and although not having any Phoenix shirts they proudly display beanies and Scarfs.....only sold a few the man says...

Then last night at my 2nd day at the Aussie Open tennis, sitting down in the evenings 35deg heat to watch Chilean Fernando Gonzales play a Greek chap Kosta Economidis and the rival fans were singing and chanting like a footie match.  Greek fans were in a whole block and appeared to belong to Hellos FC (a Melbourne Greek footie club).....chanting got a bit lively, a bit personal and a bit out of hand and 2 cops come in....

Pushing, shoving, and general abuse and the cops reply with mace (or capsicum spray)....this drifted down two aisles to where I was sitting......it stopped the tennis for about 10 mins and the cops rushed in, sprayed some more Greek boys in the face and hastily retreated again...about 10 Greek fans were removed by the rapidly increasing numbers of Police and Securtity.

Was a crazy situation to be in....I started chanting "We're here to watch the tennis" and "Sit down, Shut up" which drew a few laughs from those around us but lots of people had to leave from the drifting affect of the pepper spray.....

Riots at the golf next I say.....

WHO ARE YAH!!!!

So Coxey did you get a wiff of the pepper spray? Why the hell cant these prick behave themselves? Everywhere they go, they cause trouble - regardless of the sport. I bet they thought their 'player" was proud of their support? I think not, he would have found it an annoying distraction.
