Hi, I haven't been to a game before but am planning to attend the first game against the gold coast travelling from Napier. Any ideas on cheap accomdation etc and how much are tickets..

dont shoot me for lack of knowledge

I'm not sure about tickets, I haven't yet attended a regular season game, only finals and friendlies.

Tickets are about $25 in the Silver Zone. There's a backpackers accross the road from the railway station which is 5 mins walk to the RoF. Park bench not recommended this time of year.

But seriously: There is no info on the ticketek site yet. The $25 price for silver was last season's was it not? So it will be at least this and maybe a few dollars more.

Handily doesn't bother to mention what that special pricing is...or any other pricing for that matter!

Would have thought the tickets for a game less than 2 weeks away would've been on sale by now.

You have to ring them up to find out about the special pricing.

All the other RoF games the prices are listed, you just have to select the date and what zone you want. They haven't listed the Christchurch game prices, but assuming they will be the same.

The drop down wasn't working earlier for some reason, I see it is now.

So, it's gonna be $30 for the fever zone with the $3 service charge, not too shabby I guess.

It's only one day that is free for kids isn't it?

However I think this year it isn't the same value as there are more mid-week games and the later Friday/Saturday games might impact on other weekend activities.

We still got ours, then they were devalued even more with the change of dates for the ChCh game.

Consider it a donation to the club (for which there is little thanks... where was that link to fans being silly mugs?).

Worn by Mike Liut when he played for the WHA's Cincinnati Stingers. Should be possible to find other examples from Boston and Pittsburgh goalies.
