Phoenix fluke win - Gold Coast match
This was the nail in the coffin for Ricky in my opinion. We should have scored at least 8. I'll be disappointed if he's not sacked this week.
are there highlights anywhere on the net or anything? had a look on 101greatgoals.com and they had highlights of the friday/saturday games but no sunday games yet...
Edit, audio gets out of sync about half way through.
Way too defensive. Only made 3 attacking subs.
I thought Caceras looked very good when he came on off the bench.
Caceres is the perfect impact player imo - even though he hates not playing the full 90

Yea me too, especially to all those glory glory man united fans at cashmere high...
Always-quotable coach Miron Bleiberg gave United's best performance of the night with a colourful post-match press conference.
He offered no excuses, said the Phoenix deserved their moment in the sun, and described them as United's "black kiwi sheep".
"It never happened to me that I lost 6-0 so it's a new experience, it's the Ricki Horror Show," he said. "I can't even blame the referee, he had a good game. I think it will take time for it to sink in. I'm still laughing. I'll probably cry into my pillow during the night."
Bleiberg congratulated Herbert and revealed he had considered buying his counterpart's new book. "If his book was a bit cheaper I would have bought it. I was walking down the street and only had a $20 note, but he wants $36 for his book and I didn't have it."
Are you still drunk power?

This weekend always seems to have a crowd about that size. No real 'drop'.
I love daniels victory dance.
HE SHOULD GO ON BROADWAY.
As for the crowds it probably doesn't help much that Nix always seem to play on a Sunday at home.

While I thought Chen tried hard and ran for everything when he came on did anyone see his dummy spit when we scored the 6th? Wouldn't come and celebrate with the boys and it took Siggy to give him a bit of a rark up to get him to come over, though still reluctantly. Im glad he is passionate but needs to be more of a team man from the look of things.
That's something as fans we can feel immensely proud of, to be making the most of home advantage like that!

I'm picturing the big grin that will cross my face moments before I answer the question 'where were you when we put 6 past gcu?' with a resounding. I was there and loving it.
Side note, that's four wins in a row for Phoenix games I've made the trip for, see you all on the 4th! Surely we'll put ten past the planes.
