Dont know what the problem was with Mulli to be honest. I still believe hes a quality player just was horrible at right back for the nix. I would be keen to see him at centre midfield. I reckon he could be the creative spark we need and he would add quality to free kicks. But i wouldnt want to see him back at right back thats for sure.

In my opinion Aaron Scott is lucky to be in the All Whites as i believe he hasnt experienced any regular competitive football since the NZFC?? I guess he is there as there is no other right fullbacks apart from Mulli. Personally id just shift Sigmund or Ivan into right back against Bahrain as they are experienced enough to cope with the change or just play the 3 centre backs. Im glad the nix didnt pick Scott up as Manny has been playing well there.

Same as last time....our great defense against their excellent attack and our crap attack against their weak defense. Last time we cancelled each other out for a draw.
This time it is a battle of the coaches. Miron would have been working on ways of getting more movement out of his attackers so they can unlock our defense. Ricki would be working on the obvious.....how to get more goals out of our attackers.There will be definitely more goals than last time but i think we will still cancel each other out...for another bleedin draw. phoenix home by 3-1 would be nice!!!!

Ricky needs to start Costa and perhaps sub Rojas in at some point in the second half (earlier?) both alongside Greenacre. Drop Ifil into the midfield attack with SuperLeo - but above all, ricky needs to stop subbing off attackers and putting in defenders. we need to win. we can only do that with attackers. The defense is fine - nothing too worrying there, it is the attack that needs a morale boost and I think two hungry young guys like Costa and Rja might be the boost we need and they can learn from the hardworking Greenacre and start us on our scoring ways (at last).
