Was it all spent on donuts at the end of season bash?
The whole $50?

Hows it going now? Has someone run off with the goodies?
They're trying to find a marquee player to spend it all on.

Think it was all blown on Pick n Mix for the Christmas Party last year
"Celebrate and share in every win with the team by pledging $1 or more for every A-League match that the team wins"
We should be able to afford plenty !
Bit of a joke really, contacted the club twice earlier this season to see if this was still in operation and if the arrangement we had last season will still apply. Heard nothing seems they just cant be bothered with some of us. So over some of the rubbish we get about engaging us.

It is pretty poor if they have ditched this and not let people know. Even just a "thanks for your contribution this is what we were able to do with the cash..."
I'm swear I saw this around the field with all the other advertising boards. I agree they should have told people what they used the money for at the end of last season.

Since it came into being, our form has been crap - I think I found the problem! ;)

Aren't they just masking the problem?
We will know next week if they charge the credit card after the Jets win.
Yes, this is still on.
Got a mail that says how much money they raised and how they spent it: Ice and massage machine etc
They must have read the boards. Got this email just now
Thank you for supporting the Phoenix Football Fund last season. With the support of 20+ corporate partners pledging up to $100 per win, and significant personal donations from our loyal and passionate fans, the club was able to raise $35,000 from 7 wins. These funds have been re-invested into the football department; including a new Game Ready ice machine, Normatec massage machine, Smarterbase athlete management database system, and hiring the Otago University heat chamber to ensure the players are conditioned for Australian weather conditions. I’m sure you’ll agree that these sports science assets are important for any professional sports team that is searching for success both on and off the field.
Our 2-0 win vs Newcastle Jets last Saturday night means the Phoenix Football Fund will be activated this Friday at 12:00 noon. This is a courtesy email to inform you that under the terms & conditions of our everywincounts.com website your donation will rollover this season. If you wish to make any changes to your donation, or invite other friends to join you, please contact the administrators at https://everywincounts.com/#/contact. We hope you choose to continue this journey, as we celebrate our 10-year anniversary season in the Hyundai A-League.
We are planning to invite all donors to join the team for an official team photo at the end of the 2016/17 season. This is a “Nix Level” inner sanctum experience, and a chance for the players and coaches to say thank you. We’ll share more details soon but in the meantime Go Nix!

Guess my contribution wasnt enough to warrant an email or a reply to my 2 phone calls. Suits me will put the money away for my trip.

Can anyone find where it says this in the T&Cs? I can't find it.

I contacted them via their site this morning to say I don't want to continue with it and don't want any further payments taken off me. Strangely enough, there's nowhere on their site where that can be easily done either. They haven't responded yet.

Not in the T&Cs but here https://everywincounts.com/#/info
"Subject to you changing your pledge amount or cancelling your pledge, you agree that your pledge is payable from the commencement date of your pledge until you request the pledge to be cancelled"

Its pretty dodgy actually.
The so called T&C they link to are actually a Privacy Policy.
The website they link to does say this much:
"Subject to you changing your pledge amount or cancelling your pledge, you agree that your pledge is payable from the commencement date of your pledge until you request the pledge to be cancelled" but that is definitely NOT in the T&C
yeah I had no idea it rolled over to next season. And cannot find anywhere that it says so. I don't mind paying again, but think at best they've screwed up a bit and at worst they've been a bit dodgy.
Sending an email with a bit more than 2 days warning would've been appropriate too. Perhaps before the season started. Quite strange.
Just tried to cancel my pledge, by e-mailing the address they give in the T & C, and my e-mail got bounced back to me saying that the e-mail address couldn't be found. This is obviously one of those "can't take the money off you quickly enough, but when you want to stop the payments they're not quite as keen" situations. Or am I just being cynical?
You're being cynical, they're just disorganised
At least the way mine was set up they can't grab any money. Read
Really disappointed at the lack of contact. Just shows as much as some thing's change they actually stay the same. Cap.

Nix here sound like Loan Sharks. That's some properly poor customer service/financial dealings. A club in the UK would quickly be sued over this sort of behaviour.

Why would you travel down to Dunners, to a place colder then Wellington, to feel like your in Northland?
Is this facility lower North Island based? If not why not try to arrange a similar facility in the capital that could be used by all athletes/teams in the lower North Island?
Why don't Welnix spend some their own cash to create a facility that would bring the Nix/Welnix a financial reward.
This provides something tangible long term for small backers of the club (ie businesses and individuals who have supported the Phoenix fund) to be rightly proud of instead Ice-makers etc that will bite the dust due to wear and tear and age in 5-10 years time.

Newsflash: the University of Otago has a Wellington campus. And it has an environmental chamber.
I'm under the impression a lot of the money used tagged as "Football Fund" is from private donation not the little we see mentioned here.

Where did it say they traveled to Dunedin? My guess is it's at the Otago University campus in Wellington.
As a matter of interest has any body actually been contacted by the club and had payments start. The more i think about it the more im pizzed off at the way this has been so badly handled. So going to tell them the same.
Its good of the Phoenix to be gentle on our wallets in the run up to xmas

everyone who was part of it last season, has had it roll over to this season. An email went out just after our first win of the season.
