As a lot of you will probably know Miles Davis's last show is on tomorrow from 10am tll 3pm at Four Kings. Guests Paul Ifill, Andrew Durante, Duncan Oughton, Nathan Greenham will be some of the people on his show. Maybe some YFers too?

Should be a goodie.

If you get a chance to listen back to Miles between 12 and 1, his interview with Ifill and Durante was hilarious. Followed up by a Piney cameo.

Someone at The Kings about to whore the YF to Miles Davis on his last day... 12 pubs FTW!

On after the news, kinda now-ish.

George did you happen to download the final Miles show? I downloaded it only to find that I had totally failed to navigate the Radio Sport site and downloaded Telfer on Monday instead, and by the time I realised it was the following Saturday.... >_<

Unfortunately not Ahmad. Radio sport are a bit crap when it comes to featured interviews. Really enjoyed Miles last show and it's a shame it isn't somewhere where it can be listened to.

Their "On Demand" page was such a dog to navigate I ended up on stupid Monday instead of Friday FFS.

Wellington Phoenix co-owner Gareth Morgan has fired a shot at fickle football fans "step up" and start coming to games or they could be moved to other cities. Morgan took to Twitter yesterday to warn fans that their lack of support could lead to the team playing elsewhere. "Newcastle is smaller city, has a worse team and bigger crowds. Ask Welly how do we get decent crowds? Welly needs to pick it up." To respond we are joined by the man responsible for convincing Morgan to buy into the Nix - John 'Mystery' Morrison

I had a look at their website, they don't have anything on demand, I'm always busy Tuesday night so can't tune in.  They've got a youtube channel but it's not been updated since 2010!.

God Sam Malcolmson is terrible with Telfer on Radio Sport, he sounds like a nice guy but appears to have little in-depth football knowledge. Today for example he...

1. Called the CCM coach Geoff Arnold
2. When asked who was the star CCM centre back said 'oh yeah that big guy'

Telfer should get Piney on, he knows a lot about the A-League (Sam struggles with the Nix, let alone the rest of the teams), and JP is knowledgable about he international game too.

I realise Lotto sponsor the hour, so maybe he's part and parcel of that...

Yep, it is really painful listening to them on the A-League. Sam seems ok with EPL stuff, but seems like he watches very little if any of the non-nix a league.

Don't listen to much radio but as with the podcasts, if I wanted to hear about EPL/Europe/S American etc footy I'd prefer to hear from a corresponent over there.  What I do like to hear from locals is... the local scene .  And that includes A-League.

Nice thing about the stuff podcast is that it quickly put all the EPL stuff at the end so I could miss it all and just get the thoughts on the Nix (hoping it might do ASB premiership one day).

I refuse to listen to anything on Radio Sport any more. I just reached a threshold of how much Willie Lose and Murray Deaker I could stand, and then I just flipped right out. The whole station is just banned now.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

I finally pulled the pin on all radio sport (apart from live sport commentary) when they cancelled plunket shield coverage. Emailed the manager to let them know.

Haven't listened to Radio Sport for yonks. And was a regular listener. Not a conscious decision. I guess I just got fed up with all the inanity and any interest in the oval ball has waned over recent years. Maybe related.

Don't have even the slightest of withdrawal symptoms.

I know, I know, its serious!

Yes. After my initial melt down I did still go back for live Plunket Shield coverage too. When they stopped that that was the final straw.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.
