Normo's coming home
Phoenix Ownership - Rob says FTFFA (Part 1)
This.
As far as all evidence that exists, no Terry = No Phoenix. No rumours of a group of investors, no rumours of Sam Morgan, no rumours of a mystery man.
The cold hard facts as they stand is that No Terry = No Phoenix, and that's not a good result for anyone except the knitting circle.

I don't, but by the same token there is no proof at all that another option does exist. Terry does exist, I can see him tomorrow somewhere in Wellington and know his interest in the club. The others I have no idea about and pinning hopes on a non-existent idea seems pretty foolish to me.
Remember that while Terry put his hand up in that hairdressers, exhaustive chasing had provided not one other option nationwide and the A-League side was within hours of being buried. Maybe it is a fact that Terry and his ego are still the only people that are willing to do this, it may be a weak option, but it's the only option that we can prove exists.
as far as im concerned there has been to much of "THIS" going on.
Have had that many bad comments over the last couple of months from those who are aware im a Phoenix tragic that when you think about how that opinion must also be had by others. It really does begin to make you think how its going to affect season ticket sales casual and walkup sales.
Thats without any potential sponsors who will be thinking twice.
Love the rose tinted glasses approach of many but dont enjoy the insults or abuse if others differ from their view.
Think i have served my time without having my loyalty questioned and frankly the reponse of some really FKs me off.

There is other options. Just terry wont sell the whole club. Thats all im saying...
If they exist tell them to call the FFA and own up to it. The FFA have never been afraid to take a licence off someone - Knights, Jets - and hand it to someone else that was more viable.

which are?
At the moment, there is no one else who has publicly said that they are willing to take over the licence. Until that day happens, I'll continue to back Terry.
And I don't have my head in the sand. I just know that there is nothing I can do about so there is no point stressing.

The loan deal is not at risk Terry, because it is a scam that will never happen.
Who hasn't reached this conclusion already? It can't be a pretence on terry's behalf to other creditors can it- because they can't be that stupid.
Really worried that this is genuine self-dellusion.
My guess is that he's just trying to buy some time. If you keep up the pretence that it might come through you have something to tell people who are asking for money.
The alternative you outline is far too scary to contemplate

Yellow Fever Merch goes back into the footballing community in general and I would hate for that to stop. And anyway, there is a new stripey coming out and who aint gonna buy that? I think we should man up and buy more rather than stop supporting the fever through T Shirt sales.

We support a club that is funded as quoted to the tune of $1m a year by a genereous gentleman that is facing the receivers, liquidators, bankers, government, quango's, councils and the rest.

Yeah, if you read the article, you will see that those are words that Dave "smart-arse" Burgess is putting in his mouth. There is certainly an agenda in the press to undermine confidence in Terry, and Terry seems resigned to that.
As to WGA, I am curious at the possibility that Terry knows something I don't know, but at the moment I think he's putting a brave face on rather than avoiding reality.

You see, when Terry says "I'm on the phone to Ali every day", I'm thinking that's what he means. By tracing the calls it makes it easier for Terry's cousins in the Cypriot mafia to track the bugger down.

Theoretically,a decent deal from just the new shirt sponsor alone could go a long way to a brighter future and perhaps help cover the shortfall, let alone any other sponsors prepared to come on board.
Longer term, Terry can hopefully survive until the FFA re-negotiate a better A-League deal for all the owners, and build the league into a more attractive entertainment package.
There may be risk to Century City Football from creditors from his other failed companies, but that remains to be seen. Until it is obvious that Terry cannot continue we ought to be supporting him.
If I had capital invested in the running of the Century City Football sure I'd expect to see the books. That's business. The reality is, its Terry's business to run as he sees fit.
Improving,,on the up, a work in progress from Italiano and the Nix. Bring on the bathroom bling in '24! COYN!
There's nothing concrete other than what we know; Terry wants to keep the Nix, his empire is in trouble, and we are still signing players.
All we can do is wait... Everything is speculation
How come nobody on this forum asked to see the books when Whitcoulls/Borders were in the sh*te?
