people will always complain even if there is nothing to complain about. whatever option is used there will always be some people that do not like it.

The Phoenix have done double sided, single page match day hand out instead of a full program all season.

Most people walk by as they see it as a promotion sheet without looking.

The biggest hindrance to a program continuing I think was volunteers from the supporting local club.

On a good day with a crowd of 6000, I would sell 300 programs with 6 sellers. On a double program second game would max at about 100. from memory.  (Until TW concluded alliance with Nix)

So was a service to fans at $3.00 for those who got them.

Sounds like there is a programme for the upcoming game with City. I've inquired as to whether it will have a Tim Cahill centrefold pullout. I'll let you know the response

Apparently there is and there's a picture of the Fox Sports commentary team all lined up to take turns at kissing his butt. Codhill is allegedly the second coming.

sorry i am a memorabilia freak and tend to keep just about everything. it is not the best programme you could find it is a fold out with vinnie being the centrefold,no match day squad just the full squads for each team, an old interview with vinnie that is on the phoenix website. a short write up from des saying the phoenix ready for playoff fight, some photos of players at martin luckie park, write up by piney about 7 teams still being in the mix for playoffs not counting 1 and 2. a steve sumner write up i think i have read on phoenix website and a spot the ball for the kids.

maybe email the club and see if they have a spare one lying around.

Point of order: it's not a centrefold, the programme unfolds to an A3 sized poster of Vinnie Lia
