How do people think this is going?
 
They have those posters on the bus stops that look ok.
 
I haven't heard anything on the radio yet. We were actually involved in developing a concept for the radio ads. They were going to be based around football chants, but Terry said they were too gimmicky. Can't see how 'Who the f*ckin hell are you?' is gimmicky myself.
 
Anyway, this thread might pick up when the publicity machine gets cranking.

Tell you the truth Feverish, i think so far weve done very well and its looking good in the long run.

Maybe more gold-ish. Those posters are everywhere, they are in pretty much every Dom Post.

I havent seen any and I'm on the road most of the day.
 
The guys at work looked at me strange when I asked if they were going on Sunday. Hopefully theres some promotion between now and than. I'll be out here doing my bit to help drum up support.

Emails. If someone can think of something witty then an email will go around very fast. A great way to advertise for free. . . . .  Just gotta think of something good enough that people will forward on. . . . .

I heard some ad's on the radio today, good stuff I thought.
 
Than I was talking to a junior coach and he was telling me how crowded it's going to be at Newtown on Sunday .
As tickets are being sold through the clubs maybe (if they havent already) the Pheonix should be sending out a message to these clubs to advise the change of venue. It's gonna be bad if a crowd turn up at the wrong place.

Note to all: those involved tomorrow with clubs, make sure that any affected persons know the venue has been moved.

If any of the tv channels are doing a live cross of the weather or something just whip up a sign and wave it in the background and maybe chant something aswell. Or you can do a terrorist style thing and hold someone with some importance hostage and demand people to go to Phoenix games. Both free and easy to do.
