He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)

I understand our squad size must be 20 to 23 players. Does anyone have a good fix on where we sit at the moment re committed and uncommitted players i.e. something like;

Committed for 2 years; Durante, McCain, Bertos, Lia + ???

Committed for 1 year; Dodd + ???

Contract up and renewal decision to be made; Aloisi + ???

I'm also assuming that none of our current signings are in the marquee role ?

He knows about that list, helping update it too with Nix info. So I just beat him to the punch.

So with a current complement of 20 we have room to sign the right back, midfielder and striker Tony P has talked about and stay within the 23 max - assuming salary cap is not a limitation - I suppose if salary cap does become an issue one signing can be assigned marquee status. Any more than those 3 new players would mean Ross A or Richard Johnson or ?? would need to be let go. It will be very interesting to watch how Terry, Tony and Ricki make the remaining recruitment moves and bring together what is shaping up to be an awesome squad. Roll on the start of the season.
