No, it's Yellow and squeeks... completely different.  Used to be used for Smiting in the old Kingz days.

I was gonna say News, how many sticks do you have? Enough to necessitate a stick rack?

(If anyone says ugly stick I'll fight you because its the most obvious smart arse comment and you can all do better)

I don't think he has an ugly stick, but yesterday I saw a guy who had been climbing the tree they are made from, who had obviously slipped and smacked his face on every branch on the way down.

The squad looks great... well done Ricki and Tony.... but IMO we have to sign a right back asap.  Last year we were told not to worry about the lack of a right back as we had Christie, Lia, Old etc, and look what happened.  3 at the back.  Clebo at right back. I still have nightmares.  There must be an a league quality right back out there that we can afford.

We'll be fine up front, even if we have to play with a lone man (smeltz) - this wont be too bad looking at the quality of attacking midfielders we have. I think a lot of v4 comes down to whether lia is solid at right back.

Who do you suggest?

Tarek El**ch was possibly the best RB in the league last season and he was an attacking midfielder a year ago. Says a bit about how things are with regards to right backs in this part of the world, heck everywhere else on the planet they're complaining about the lack of left backs.

All I'm saying is that I think that going into the season (like last season) without a right back is a big risk.

Plus I don't think that finding a right back better than Lia is the mission impossible that some make it out to be.  Not to dis the a-league but there are lots of leagues in the world that have players of a similar quality.

Don't get me wrong I like Lia and I hope he does well, but there is a lot of uncertaincy about whether he will succeed as a RB esp. due to his sometimes unconventional tackling technique.

We're going to lose 10-0 every game because we dont have a specialised RB? Nah.

We have a much much better defence than we did last season, and some handy signings elsewhere as well. We have a great side, that will be very competitive.

Im sure we arent the only side in the league with Rb 'problems'

Allegedly

richie alagich was the one i would have wanted to sign, if he'd stayed in the game for one or two more seasons

then suggest a right back, if we havent been able to find one, with it being such a problenm we had to change our formation last year, i.e. it was probably one of our biggest recruitment targets, considering we have signed other really good players, i think its safe to say we've done all we can to find 1

I get sick of this RB talk. Its like a catch phrase around here. We have Christie, Lia and enough quality defenders to cover that position.
It would be great to get some amazing striker, to put up the front with smeltz... . We have two spots open still.... so see what happens.
