What's the vibe on the Phoenix in Welly? Is it being discussed in
the pubs, cafes, bus stops or supermarkets? Is there an air of
excitement? Or pessimism?
Does the average bloke/chick in the street give a sh*t? Or
have a clue?
Also- who does the beer at the ground? Is it full
strength?

It's encouraging the number of people in Wellie who say they like
it a lot, and will be going to games. Many of them haven't had much
to do with footy before

I have even people who have never been to a live football game who are wanting to see the phoenix ,also having ardent rugby freinds talking about going too!
Let us all hope that the support wil be there for the WHOLE
season

I think the city is embracing their new identity, it will only add
to the culture and history wellington already has. People know and
cant wait for kickoff to begin.

Yes it should be good - Rugby followers who do not take season
passes for Hurricanes games- going to by season passes to Nix's
games. I am continully asked by work mates when passes are coming,
we need the info now before the market losses the spirit.

I think if Courteny Place embraces the match and aftermatch it
will become huge.

It'll be great weekend visit to Welli when your team comes to
town.......plenty to do and a geat atmosphere here. There is
a general buzz starting to gather momentum and it'll be huge by the
time the pre-season cup and then the Victory come to town.......

trip per season down to my old hometown to scream the Phoenix on.

Off to WINZ on Monday to arrange supplementary benefit to pay for
season pass and airfares for my family & me to come to every
home game from ChCh. Should qualify under emergency rules eh! if
not can always sell my neighbours Falcon. Hope the players
appreciate the lengths us fans go to.
