It makes it finally seem like we are actually playing against an EPL team seeing "Phoenix vs West Ham" in a match thread title.

Maybe you could change the venue at the last minute, leave me a message on the phone about it, then when I call you back tell me you'll email me details of the new venue, then email details of the old venue, then when I call you back claim you know nothing about it but promise that someone else will call me back, then don't call me back.

But then you're not Ticketek so this will probably be OK.

A full day of travel awaits before Sam Allardyce and his team arrive in Auckland, with a game against Wellington Phoenix first up next Wednesday.

The Hammers then conclude the tour by taking on Sydney FC and skipper Kevin Nolan cannot wait.

He said: "I've never done a full day's travelling before so it'll be interesting to see how we handle it, but we're looking forward to seeing what New Zealand's all about. It's going to be great with the full houses for the games."

Full Houses?

Do you know a rough PAX? Also how many travelling West Ham fans are there going to be (or fans in the West Ham area)? Be good to get some back and forth with songs/chants

We are indeed totally different (in so many ways.....)   People often get it wrong.

Remember the old adage "there's no "i" in team Cosmo"  ;)

Ha! Me?! LOL! I am no kind of parent at all!!! Jeez, I think we can all agree I would be a failure as a parent.

It was for a friends kid.

For the record - here is the plan for some of us:

Staying in town, so will start at The Fox (Viaduct Basin) - will be there some time after 1400.

Free trains with match ticket are from 3 hours before KO (which is 1930).

Train to Faltering Fullback (Eden Park) at 1638. (Mmm ... this pub did yummy cheesy chips and curry sauce last time we were there! - I have FB'd them to check they still do them!)

> Game

Probably straight onto train back to town. (But maybe back to Faltering Fullback - TBD.)

In town - The Fox. Or maybe straight to Danny Doolans!
