we are royally f**ked for this one in my eyes. No paston, half the defence is injured/suspended and attack hasn't been in form as of late. Predict 3-1 to Sydney. I do hope I'm wrong though.

Ricki said that McCain probably won't last the full 90 and Brown would replace him as CB. So we could finish the game with Troy....a winger at RB, brown a mdfielder at CB, Durante, lochy at some kid in goal. Plus Durante has a bad case of the flu and is not 100%....don't have a good feeling about this one at all. We have struggled against Sydney this year.

I think we have played some pretty good football all season. I havent seen any one team completely out play us, in most of the draws we have been the better team. We are definately a better side than last season and each season we have built on the previous one. I dont think Crowther was as bad as some are making out and I think we can beat Sydney. I trust the players we have and the coaching staff.
I think we have the ability to grab 3 points.

Cheer up all you moaning doomsday followers.

Can't remember where I sure the original post (maybe earlier in this thread?), but does anyone know the details about a training session being open to the public this afternoon?

3.30-4.30 Training. In the Square at noon

Potential

                 Crowther
Troy-McKain-Durante-Lochhead
          Brown- Lia
Bertos--Caeceres--Daniel
               IFill

Would much prefer Greeny is fit, gives the formation more balance.

If you were the sort to back our rivals (obviously I'm not) $2.55 for Sydney looks like good money.

Agreed..loyalties aside.  Anyway its good to bet against your team sometimes as u get to be happy either outcome..win or lose of course.

Was just having a discuussion with someone here who was going to put $30 on Boro to beat Cardiff and I said better to put it on Sydney!

A small town in Europe........looking to bounce straight back up....well that aint going to happen

Ok I just had a dream that the stadium was filled with Sydney fans and we lost 2-1... And we had a free kick just on the outside of the box and someone tried to header it in, it went over and the game ended.

So if that happens... I'll be taking appointments.

Just got back from their media meet and greet in the Square. Durante wasn't about, nor was Greenacre, so hopefully that isn't a bad sign

Wish Greenie was back - we missed him last game.

I remember a podcast once and someone was complaining about betting against the Nix and how if you win there should be absolute happiness and if you lose then there should be no consolation.

Is Greenacre definitely out?  Man we are light on attack.  Krishna as injury cover anyone?  Probably not good enough.

Not good if Greenacre doesn't make it. He was pretty close last week wasn't he? Can't understand why he still wouldn't be ready if that was the case.

Definitely a bit worried about this one with all the missing players.

are we becoming the Man U of the a-league in terms of unavailble players?

GCU last week had like no one availble mainly because of injury though.

Why is it that we go rambo at such crucial times in the season getting ourselves sent off and/or suspended. Its bloody beyond me and gee if Durante is not fit we are going to get spanked.

No paston
No Sigmund
No Durante
No Brown
No Greenacre

Wouldn't be surprised to see Ricki or Tony P in the lineup.

Not sure we are talking about the same player. This guy would NOT get a game in any other A league team.

For me Siggy is the one player thathas given 100% and as a central defender he has done his job.As a left back Lochhead is a very poor defender

What's wrong with Brown ?

Is Greenacre definitely out ?
He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)
