Phoenix Website - where/when

Very dissappointed that there is not a website up yet.  A web presence is essential to get the latest information out to fans.  They should be trying to generate interest far and wide as soon as possible.  I was dissappointed in the Knights website (I realise it was generic following A-League guide lines) however it was one of the poorer ones in comparison to the other clubs. The new owner should know that it is a marketing tool.  The club should be pushing to have this up asap, a presence should have been there from day one.  Get these little things right and the big things will happen

I would guess they are trying to get things right by doing things properly, which means don't put the website up half done. I presume they also have to appoint a CEO to give things direction. No doubt the FFA will still tell them what to do, as far as the website is concerned.

You're right charlie, it is very frustrating for something, anything, concrete to happen.

Can't see any reason why the WPFC site couldn't be up already, all the A-League sites follow the same generic format anyway...

(Unless they've decided to change this...here's hoping? :P)

Patience people as far as i know, although i may well be wrong the front office staff and other management appointments havnt been made yet.Surely you dont want it to go on line looking shyte.I would rather its done properly than just be thrown together half arsed.

The A League site had a section if you really need to go there.

The websites were mant to undergo a major facelift in August last year which has never happened.  Maybe they finally have their sh*t together enough to do it.

We heard from John Serapisos late last week that the website is under construction, hopefully it won't be too much longer.  The club needs to jump on the obvious excitment that has been generated and make the most of it...

I agree with hydoxide - - I'd welcome any official site and believe it should be up already.

Honestly lads, take it from those of us who have watched the FFA for the last two years... if you believe something should be done immediately, wait 6 months...

We don't really need an official club site anyways. They end up being self-indulgent promoters of propaganda :)

This site is doing enough for me. As soon as any news becomes available I'm sure it will find its way here very quickly.

A website should be a communication tool between the ppl running the club and its supporters. There is no-one running the club apart from Terry that I know of, so we'll have to wait. Therefore this and the Knights fora are for the fans to communicate between ourselves.
Count to 100,000 slowly boys (and Lisa if she's still around)

You might get all your news from here, but I'm sure there are a whole lot of Wellington interweb n00bs who need an official site.
