He did have speed, was just easy to push off the ball. We really do lack speed. Surely we have the slowest team in the league. Can't say perth are to fast either but they have good ball players with a brain.

Troy 1 - if someone can name me one thing he did right in the entire game I will give him more.
Siggy 6.5 - covered well, scored a good goal.
Daniel 6 - only player to look like doing anything in the first half.
Pav 6 - got involved when he came on.

Greenie 5 - pretty invisible.

Troy�4.5 A mediocre performance. It's a though he's forgotten how to play RB
Siggy 7.5 The best player in the team.
Dura 6.5 A good performance from our skipper
Lochie 5.5 Should have done better on the goal but that aside he wasn't terrible
Daniel 6 First game he started in a while and put himself about. Should improve his crosses though
Timmo 5.5 I have seen better from him, but personally I would have kept him on and swapped Lia for Ward.
Lia 5.5 He works behind the scene and I appreciate that. But that's all he ever does.
Ifill 6.5 Had his shot gone in in the 1st half it might have been a different game. Lost the ball a few times but he's always a worry to opposition defenders.
Ward 5.5 I have to say, I remember his to be much better. He didn't look to out of place but a few cheap turn overs.
Greenie 6 Could have done better on that shot, and lazy on the Pavlovich cross. If you're a striker, you've got to be there at the right time!
Big mac 5 Average.
Leo 6 Did OK when he came on. Shame that Drewhurst and Aloisi didn't realize that he dyed his hair to support prostate cancer.
Pav 6 He worked hard and created some good chances.

Ben Williams 6.5 I liked how he let the game run a lot. He messed up a couple of fouls and advantages.

I'd swap Dura and Siggys ratings around mainly due to the silly fouls Siggy kept committing. Still thought he had a good game. Dura didn't put a foot wrong all game.

Burnt Fowler, then tried to do it again and stuffed up.

Actually wouldn't mind seeing him in a wide midfield role. I think he is excellent when he is forward but woeful at the back.

He is such a ball watcher/follower and he demonstrated that on so many occasions - it was damn frustrating. And then when he is on his man, he just fouls him.

I agree. He's not as terrible a player as some on here keep saying, in my opinion, but he's no RB.

Siggy for my man of the match, and that's just because his goal makes up for some of his atrocious tackles.

I also think his move to leave two standing next to Stejovski for the second may have been questionable when Fowler was clearly arriving, but I'd need to watch it again to confirm that.



Dura made a number of poor decisions and people seem to think the North that will turn up will be a completely different one to the one who used to play in the A-League.

Be prepared to be disappointed.

As for Siggy, considering he had no fullback outside him for significant periods of the game and had to contend with Sterjovski I thought he had a good game, even without the goal.

This is one thing that is guaranteed week in week out. Doesn't mean he's always the best but he leaves everything on the pitch.

Also I can't think of who else you could give MOM to.

the siggy love on here is getting worse.  The one-on-one that Perth had near the end was his fault and it seems to happen everytime I see him play.  He cannot deal with movement, and it is kind of an important part of defending.

He's not perfect, but he's no worse than anyone else in the backline and he scored a goal which is something no one in front of him managed to do.

For me Paston probably my motm with a couple of good saves and he was completely screwed by his defence and midfield (collectively) for the goals.

And couldn't get the cross in either time.

He is not as good as Ifill, Daniel or Bertos in the wide midfield role.

Well in that case he can get lost, my invite must have been lost in the mail. MOM goes to Paston.
