I know it's a bit late but... please agree or disagree giving
evidence.
Moss 7 more commanding than usual
Old 4 nice to see him going down the wing, but hasn't really
got the touch
Clebo 6 fired up in second half but combination with Dodd
looked poor
Dodd 6 Calm and assured
Lochead 5 Steady
Daniel 7 Would have been an 8 if pen had gone in, within 2 cm
of an 8
Aloisi 6 Did the job
Christie 5 Rather anonymous
Ferante 6 Involved a lot, combinations not too good yet
Smeltz 7 Nice header, could have been a nine if he'd won it
for us!
Covs 5 Received well, but didn't create much
Felipe 8 A real impact, reminded me of Leilei Gao a wee
bit
Ricki 8 His instructions to pump the ball into the
corners near the end stretched the Melb defence and almost pulled
off the win

yeah i'd give Lochead more than a measley 5, and Clebs a 7 for his 2nd half. I agree with the rest i think

Lochhead should be higher and I don't think Old was the worst
player on the park. I think Ferrante was. (unsure why though, he
played really well in the pre season v Melbourne)
I haven't managed to see a replay though so can't really say as I only saw Old's wing.

I thought people were harsh on him on game day and having watched
aTV replay I'm now certain of it.

I don't think Old was the worst player that would probably go to
Coveny. Switch those two around and switch Daniel and Felipe
around and I would pretty much agree.

I think dodd looked solid in the defence - he countered clebersons
style quite well - other than the f**k up with the second goal.

I think Tony was more than a 5, probably a 7. Cleberson had
1st game jitters in the 1st half, but pulled it out in the 2nd, so
would give him a 7.
