moss-8.5 except for that early goal he played very well & should keep paston out of the starting line up for atleast another week
christie-6 played well untill the end that pass to moss was crazy and gave the game away with minutes remaining.
odor-6 poor performace again vs the mariners
dodd-7.5 saved us a few times on defence and was the pick of the defenders, wasnt at his best but a good performance frm the central defender
lochead-7 was better on attack than defence
elrich-8.5 his goal was amazing, he struggled early on with communication letting him down but it was his 1st start and his fitness let him down towards the end but overall brilliant performance was always a threat on attack
brown-6.5

lia-7 good game for lia he played well on attack but his finish let him down but was still on target.
daniel-7 he dives when he tackles someone else
he was a threat on attack but poor on

The Phoenix back four is the worst in the league.They have conceded
more goals than any other side.
We just don't have any class defenders.The two fullbacks maybe All Whites but they are not good enough.Dodds was not good enough for the Roar.
Ricki was one of the best ever All White defenders so I find it amazing that we are conceding so many goals.
The old saying----if you don't concede you can't lose.

Agreed we could never counter attack because we only ever had

f**k up he dropped to a 2

Dodd 4 he did a couple of screwed up kicks that went straight
up in the air and put us under pressure.
Lochead 8 had a good game very few mistakes
Elrich 9 awesome game GREAT goal but I think he could of run a
bit harder at times.
Brown 6
Alosi 7 didn't make any mistakes but wasn't special
Lia 6.5
Smeltz 7 had a good game ran and never stopped trying but
I think he should of stopped waiting for people to get into the
middle and cross it in and run it up and put them and
pressure.
Daniel 6.5 had an alright game made some opportunities but got
a bit tricky at times.

Moss 4 shocking lack of confidence coming off his line, except for
the one save, his worst game by far
Christie 5 a shame about the mess at the end, which was mostly
ODors fault, otherwise he'd had a good rating
ODor 4 Two terrible mixups. defenders aren't allowed any
Dodd 5 not bad apart from such a blatant push
Lockhead 6 the pick of the defenders, not that he was back
there much
Aloisi 4 Gave away a foul with almost every bloody
tackle
Lia 6 Did well without making anything happen
Elrich 7 Clasy contributions
Daniel 6 Isolated
Smeltz 7 worked his arse off
Who have I forgotten? oh... Brown 5 battled away but Johnson
would have been better than him or Aloisi
Sorru for the poor ratings, but I think thats what we

we were playing the top team in the league...some perspective. We played very well in parts, players getting 4 (Moss? what!!) is ridiculous - we could've won, and then the players' rating would be about 3 points higher.
it was a heartbreaking loss but we played better than against Newcastle imo.
I like tautologies because I like them.
