Warner 6 Did well enough, I'd like to see him take more crosses rather than leave it to his defenders to head away.
Manny 6.5 Some great runs, crosses and tackles, but on the debit side, could well have given away a pen and got another card
Siggy 7.5 A stirling performance
Dura 8 Excellent
Lochie 7 Great crosses too
Leo 7 Holy hell, he shows he has still got it. Got in behind their defence and took them on.
Timmy 8 That goal is worth a mint. Without it prob only a 6, but he scored it. Yes!
Vinnie 7 Worked his a*rse off, always in support
Wardy 7 a good performance too, good to see him getting into the box
Greenie 6.5 Did well, a couple of good shots, set up Iffy for his shot over the top
Iffy 8 Great goal to start the game and was always dangerous. Awesome to see him not injured!!!
Pavlov 6 One of his better performances, took the ball to line and pulled it back a couple of times.
Ref 9 played advantage superbly, didn't give two soft-ish pens Sydney were hoping for
YF 8 loud and clear throughout, great to see those white chests again!

Never thought I'd be so glad to see that horrendous sight again.
Also IMHO Warner was good and the goal was not his fault.

Ifill is no doubt our heart and soul of the Phoenix. So he'll be a great signing for Mel V next season.

i personally thought warner was terrible on that goal. Slow to get down, and not great positioning
Thought Brown was ok, but without that goal, I really cant remember him doing anything... the usual.
Ward looking the better choice than leo, but both played well.
Ifill is pure class, need to keep him fit.
Pav looking good for what he had to work with - clearly told to hold back a bit and wait for support rather than run at guys, which was a shame.
Ricki - for christ sake- make some bloody substituions, whats the point of having those guys there? Even in injury time, we are clearly dragging time out for the win - why not make some subs. jeez

you missed Vinnie with a stunner of a volley that might have been a fantastic goal clincher if it hadn't been for Reddy. Poor guy- hasn't gad that many goals for the 'Nix IIRC.

Brown had a good game. I watched him for a bit and he wasn't slacking. Got back in defense a few times. Only thing he could be guilty of was some vigorous challenges.

Brown and Lia were both very busy there in midfield. Very impressed with the way Lia came back into the team last week after so long away and put in almost 90 minutes. He was excellent today.
Both of them were the major reason Carle was kept so quiet.

Yep, bullied the hell out of Carle and made him and Reddy look like a right pair of plonkers.
Reminds me too that Tim has a bit of form trying for extreme long range shots. Seem to recall a few attempts this season.
