Moss 7 one great save, go off line well to deny another. annoyed me with two minutes to go by wandering slowly to take a goal kick
Lia 6 Tried hard, but not tall enough to cope with crosses.
Rees 6 Tried his best to give away a penalty, but no luck
Dodd 6 Pretty good
Locky 6 Good to see a few runs down the left again
Jezza 5 A few good moments in first half, quiet after booking
Ferrante 6 Focused, didn't adapt passes to conditions too well
Aloisis 7 Organised the midfield well while on, but tired
Brown 4 Where is his tracking????
Costa 8 Great to see someone taking them on. A shame he didn't score
Smeltz 6 Not enough shots, did well enough
Elrich 6 Set up Draper with a beautiful pass, should have been on with 20 min to go
Draper 5 OK, his shot slid wide
Felipe ??

Ref 8 No pen, ka pai!
What do you all reckon?

Costa did reasonably well. Nice to see he has the confidence to take people on. Pity about the shot he missed.

Brown is capable of a lot better... not playing his best at the moment.

Elrich looked hungry once he came on and did well. Should have been on a lot longer.

Gutted Daniel wasn't there and that Felipe didn't get a run.

Costa MOTM for sure. Capping it with a goal would have been great. Good to see the commentators singing his praises too. Earnt himself a lot of brownie points with that performance.

Daniel was (is) injured and Felipe did get a run, but did absolutely nothing.

Did Felipe touch the ball?

Did Brown?

I don't think Felipe did, but Brown had a couple of touches. He seemed pretty out of it though.

I realise Daniel was injured - and was gutted about that. When did Felipe get on?

Same time as Elrich.

Draper did well after coming on. Unlucky not to score also.

Yea, both Draper and Costa look good for the future.

Well sh*t, didn't notice that. Would have liked to have seen him have more of a run then (even if he obviously made little impact). On a wet pitch like that, defenders would have had little chance of stopping his runs. jamesnz2008-01-20 00:10:41

Up front, there's clearly coverage between Costa and Draper for when Coveny retires. They will both be up to par for next season based on what I've seen of them. If Smeltz goes, we will need to sign another striker though.

yeh, there were a few of us at the 4kings who were disappointed that Felipe and elrich weren't on earlier

though when they came on it we lost a bit of shape and with Lia and Lochy pushing well up, we were always likely to get caught for a second

like you Jaq was LMAO at Rees getting away with that shirt pull!!

cheers for the ratings OOE - always a good thread
