Great result in a game of ups and downs
Mossy 6.5 a couple of superb saves, but mustve been partly at fault for the OG
Manny 6 Some passing inacc but did the job
Siggy 6.5 Strong in the air, kept Mane at bay
Dura 7.5 Excellent covering
Doyle 5.5 Awful OG, but hung in there and provided that cross
Riera 6 Not his flawless best, gave away a number of passes, but screened defence well
Roly 7.5 Excellent contribution, looks like the go to man in the middle
A Rod 5.5 Better than last week, but still not making a mark
Wee Mac 7 All round good work in a difficult game for him.
Burns 8 Nice finish and kept the Dogs in their toes all night
Brockie 6.5 Worked hard pressurising the Dogs defence, a shame he couldn't bury the pen, but a great knock back for Burns
Louis 5 Midfield deteriorated when he came on
Kenny 4.5 Ran around

Think you have been a bit generous with Manny,he was owned particularly in that first half.If Doyles a 5.5 Manny needs to be at least the same.Otherwise mostly agree apart from Brockie was lucky to be awarded the penalty and some of off the ball movement is just bloody lazy.

I was really impressed with Roly, his passing and work rate were impressive. The game definately looked different when he was subbed off.

I think we are being a little kind wrt Doyle's rating. Sure a great cross and good to see him shake off the OG but some of his defending was very average, eg ball watching while that cross came in towards the end to give a free header. Still think you give him 6 games or so but  he needs to tighten up his marking and learn to read runs from opposing players (which is one thing Durante is a master at even if he is a tad slow- it makes up for his lack of pace).

Burns was good, his pass to set Rockies up for the pen was great.. I think if you are trying to get in behind players from those sorts of runs then Krishna surely has to be your man as he has the wheels that Brockie doesn't. Find that selection odd.

Doyle is clearly not match fit for this level yet. He was barely hanging on in the last 15 minutes, although to be fair he wasn't the only one. On that incident with the free header it was interesting that Durante immediately went over, put his hand on Doyle's shoulder and gave him an almost paternal telling off for failing to track Fitzgerald, which is exactly what he needs.

I actually don't think our defence was convincing at all, considering how toothless CCM were for long periods. We need to stop the panicky lumps up the park in situations where a pass to a team mate or back to Moss is a better option. Manny and Siggy were especially guilty of this and were lucky that their mis-hits didn't cost us a goal. Probably a symptom of two seasons of defensive disaster.

Just re-watched the match highlights.

Definitely bump Moss up. Made some incredible saves.

How could you give Manny a six? He was not only shaky going forward but defensively CCM constantly exploited his side. His passing wasn't really any better either and constantly gave the ball away cheaply. He did improve later in the game but for me he was no more than a 4.5 if Doyle gets a 5.5.

The oggie was 100% Doyles in my opinion. He had plenty of time to woof that out for a corner.

Brockie 6.5 and Riera only 6.0.???? no way Brockie did a better job in his position than Riera did in his. Lots of stuff Riera does is vital but is not mega obvious.....Brockie does'nt do much of anything.

And that's two games in a row.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

I didn't see any exploitation of Manny's side of defence, I saw the Mariners trying to isolate Mane against him and it not working time and time again. I think he did a very good job defensively.

Riera up a full point for me, another good game from him

Muscat down a point, he was poor

Agree with the rest

In my opinion there is no way Brockie rated a 6.5. Sure he set up the goal for Burns and it could be argued that he set up the goal for McGlinchey, the reality being he missed the penalty, and pretty much just ran around albeit in a rather leisurely manner. As for him getting a higher rating than Riera....absolutely not!!
