Moss 9 Fantastic shot stopper and actually came of his line. well

Starting to wonder how long we can carry Daniel. Yes, he's got
the ability but, apart from his goal last week, he's done next to
nothing in the last few games. Main point of his game at the moment
seems to be to give possession away nearly every time he's on the
ball
Thought the two central defenders actually looked quite solid.
Smeltz didn't do much but that wasn't his fault, no service.
Brownlie, why bother?

Moss 8 - still doesnt command his area in set pieces
Christie 7 solid, doesn't do anything flash but takes good
options.
Old 8 thought he was the bette of the 2 cb's tonight, didn't
hoof it every time.
Dodd 6 - unlucky penalty, didn't seem as involved as
usual.
Lochead 6 - would like to see him get back to making his
runs.
Johnosn 6 - worked hard
Lia - 6 worked hard also but is a nutter
Brown 6 covered good ground.
Elrich - 4 and not because he got sent off, but nearly every
pass he makes he tries to make it a miracle ball.
Daniel - 7, believe he's getting ranked low because he doesn't
dazzle for a full 90 - passed well and won numerous free
kicks.
Smeltz - 6 worked hard but doesn't get the service
needed.
Ferrante - 6 excellent free kick but that was all i saw of
him.
Brownlie....... time for a rant, jag your a muppet,
why bother, has he recieved more than 10 minutes in one game this
year? the only way he could do anything is if he scored, which
would be amazing considering we only managed 2 shots all night.
Looks good on the ball, better skill than coveny and looks to play
people in, only issue, to similar to Smeltz to play alongside him.
Wait till he gets a decent run then judge!

Not much of a rant, was it! Calling me a muppet's hardly a rant.
Fair enough, I'm probably one of the two old codgers who sit
up in the balcony 
Maybe it was badly written but my "Why Bother" comment was
more based on "Why Bother bringing him on in that situation" rather
than a dig at Brownlie himself. From where I was sitting I didn't
really see how bringing Brownlie on was going to change the game. I
haven't rated what I've seen of Brownlie so far this season but, as
you rightly say, he hasn't had a huge opportunity to stake a
claim.

Yeah, take it out on your students. Serves them right for
sitting around in their spare time playing Pacman and Space
Invaders and listening to MC Hammer and all that other new fangled

True, and he does give the ball away a little too often. But
he looked the only one likely to unlock their defence. Craig Moore
should have been booked when he cut him down when he went on that
mazey run.
