I'd take 1 off Ifill for the yellow card and give him an 8.

I'd knock many of them up 0.5.

and then add 2 for showing such self-control.  I thought his performance tonight was one of the best ever by a Phoenix player.  Deserved the penalty, would have scored if he hadn't been taken down and his strike off the cross-bar was sensational and so unlucky not to have snuck in.

Probably Browns best game of the season - his work rate was much better than it has been most of the year.

Sanchez is due a good game, goal aside, 2nd quiet game in a row - I just don't think right half is his position, he is much better in the middle.

Smith impresses more and more each week - a real honest grafter and very good in the air.

He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)

Excellent first half, little quieter in the second I thought, but excellent game. Could not agree any more with your statement above

Those ratings seem pretty spot on to me. I'd maybe dock SigmUnd a point for that dickish gesture to the Adelaide fans - its probably going to cost him a game on review, and that's the last thing we need (especially if Griffiths is off in China). And I'd give Sanchez an extra point. He scored a goal, and did nothing else wrong.

Yep. And did you see his neat little turn at the top of the box? He showed a number of classy touches. I did think he tired badly though - there were a number of occasions where he gave up a chase, or was left sitting on his heels, at the end of the game. Not a surprise given the conditions and his earlier effort.

I think Siggy deserves a 10 just for giving it to the pissant fans

Might be a hollow 10 if there is any consequence from FFA, but top marks for intent!

Brown's best game in some time, that can't be said enough, every time I thought he was about to disappear he did something great! Really nice finish too, fooled the keeper, picked his spot, awesome. Lets ave some more of that brownie!

Thought some or all of our defenders were marked pretty highly considering our impersonation of a sieve in the first 20 mins or so, i was freaking out at times, pinball in the box with every delivery, it wasnt good

i liked brown's interview after the game said he thought about taking a touch and at the last second changed and hit it first time.

Yes agree with the ratings. Pasty had me worried a few times. Just doesn't seem assertive enough.
Loved the gesture from Siggy. He had blood pouring from his head and the Adelaide fans screaming "Who are ya" at him. Bad form.

Funny you should say that. I had a dream about Mel McLaughlin last night and it was exactly this!

Yeah but a lot of times the player is faking it or trying to milk it to influence the ref. Last night it was pretty obvious that Siggy had a genuine injury.

If I remember rightly, you were still awake when having thoughts about Mel. You may also not have been wearing pants  I have the text evidence!

Yeah but I guess we don't know about the injury cuse we are usually so far away, it was clear he'd had a head injury ffs their fans were right on top of it. I liked the ol' "up yours" though, don't really see that these days.

Stupid though baiting Siggy, turning him from mild-mannered CB into the:

Exactly, some get a little precious on here sometimes.I can just imagine the reaction on here if an opposition player had done what siggy did to the zone.

Jason Culina did exactly that to the zone when cold ghost equalized at the beginning of last season. With out any form of sanction from the FFA.
