lol @ rating Greenie 5.5

Ridiculous. Had a great game in trying conditions.

To say we played ugly is a bit harsh also. We played it on the deck for the majority of the game and created several chances. We also dominated midfield for most of it. Not bad work on a sh*t pitch in 40 degrees when we haven't won away from home in a year or more.

Sorry to be late, good to know others don't wait around!!Bloody glad I wasn't playing in that heat, and good to see they were as much affected as us. I think our game plan was obviously to conserve energy where poss
Pasty 7.5 So much more commanding and confidence inspiring than the old days

Manny 7 Part of a strong back four, covered when necessary
Dura 8 He's been excellent for weeks, timing impeccable
Siggy 7.5 Kept the shape well, won most of his challenges
Lochie 7 defended well, made one important goal denying challenge and set up the goal
Leo 6.5 Mainly did well, ran out of steam, almost an assist, their keeper pulled off a miracle
Brownie 6.5 Actually looked composed on the ball, and I can't remember him fouling anyone in dumb areas
Diego 6 Like Tim, worked hard, slowed the ball down in the conditions
Daniel 6 Did his job
Ifill 7.5 Two great touches, the rest was good too
Greenie 5.5 Not in the game that much
Costa 6 Tried hard, but little impact
Caceras 6 Steady
Troy 6

That's my two cents worth

I agree, but would swap Siggy and Dura, and also put Lochy up to 7.5 - the ball in for the goal and the goal saving challenge for me bump him up above Manny

That commentator was TRAGIC! "Yeah well the Kuiweis.."

Found it amusing that they had Kosmina in the commentary box for a 'Nix game. He's not exactly famous as the world's biggest fan of Ricki or the Nix.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I do not think it was ugly. All players could go up atleast one. Very solid in defense doesn't make it "ugly" and it wasn't scrappy.

I think we passed the ball around pretty well at times, I'm happy with how thew team is progressing.

Kosmina has actually been only really saying positive stuff about us this season

The only time I can really remember Ricki getting publicly angry was with Kosmina last season. Thought Kosmina didn't show enough respect for the Nix post-match (it was one of our wins). The 'Herbie' stuff is quite ironic then, but not nearly as ironic as Kosmina and Kevin Muscat acting as guides for a tour group to SA for the World Cup next year!

Kosmina's one of those coaches whose emotions sometimes make him go completely OTT but as a person he's probably a decent enough guy. And I don't mind his comments because he makes very good points about the games and clearly knows his stuff.

Whisper it, but I'd far prefer to hear Kossie's opinions on the game than Ricki's because he is willing to say something interesting and mildly controversial

Is Slater the one that always seems to be negative about us ?
